Sandra - Myotherapist

Myotherapy | Sports | Dry Needling | Cupping | Pregnancy

Sandra is a qualified Myotherapist, educator, and the founder and owner of Knots + Niggles Therapy.

Sandra has a special interest in treating TMJ dysfunction, lower back pain and movement imbalances and lower limb injuries. Her treatments combine hands-on myotherapy with practical movement and rehabilitation to help reduce pain, improve function and keep you moving long after you leave the clinic.

As an ultra runner, Sandra understands firsthand what it takes to keep the body moving well. Her own training has given her a real appreciation for how the lower back, hips and legs work together, and she enjoys helping everyone from runners and active people to those simply wanting to move with less pain.

She believes treatment shouldn't stop at the massage table. Where appropriate, Sandra includes simple Pilates-based exercises and movement retraining to help improve strength, mobility and confidence between appointments.

Outside the clinic, Sandra keeps herself busy. She’s recently discovered a love of pottery, lectures at the Melbourne Institute of Massage & Myotherapy, and also runs private education courses for health professionals.

Whether you're recovering from an injury, managing ongoing pain or looking to improve the way your body moves, she'll work with you to create a treatment plan that's realistic, effective and tailored to your goals, with plenty of laughs along the way.
